We are prematurely introducing Country.Hospital to the world, as it is apparent that the world is in desperate need of a non-partisan global health platform that puts citizens of planet earth first.
Watching the shocking advice given from various leaders, it is apparent that the medical community and the citizens of this world need a better platform to connect with one another.
Our governments and our leadership have failed us terribly.
Just last week, the President of Mexico was telling his citizens to disregard the warnings from the scientific and medical community, and was actually encouraging his citizens to go out in public and to not stay at home.
Countless lives will have been lost because of his actions. The 129 million residents of Mexico deserved better.
But, many other officials on the national and local level could be pointed out, as well.
The world deserves better.
And America deserves better than what we have been experiencing.
Doctors and nurses in New York City wearing trash bags to protect themselves is beyond unacceptable.
They are lambs being sent in for slaughter. And they know it. And so do we.
It is also unconscionable that we ask our doctors and nurses to choose who lives and who dies, simply because their hospitals lack medical supplies that could have been purchased and stocked at any point over the last several years.
A doctor in Italy committed suicide last week over the guilt of having infected dozens of people due to her transmitting coronavirus. These transmissions occurred because her own hospital was not able to provide her with basic health protections that could have prevented the transmissions. This was not her fault.
Let's not let her unnecessary death be for nothing.
All of this could have been avoided if the medical and scientific community had a way to speak directly to the people.
That is the purpose of Country.Hospital
This is what we need:
We need to build 145 websites. One for each of the major cities. And several more for regional and continental sites such as USA.Hospital, Africa.Hospital, and Euro.Hospital
These sites can be launched very quickly, as they will run off of the same template, but I need a decent number of web designers and programmers to get things going. I'll also need project managers to oversee the setup and to coordinate with medical staff in each city.
This is a large endeavor. But well worth it.
I will be looking to align with various charity organizations to push this along.
This is not going to be a venture backed by Wall Street or a Hedge Fund.
This will be a resource for the people. But that means the money will also have to come from the people.
Every dollar helps. And every dollar can save a life. Please give what you can.
